2ND CLASS STATIONARY ENGINEER LICENSE

A 2nd Class Stationary Engineer for the City of Buffalo is the entry level operator within the Stationary Engineering Program. This licensing level allows the individual to operate a 175-horsepower boiler plant along with 150 tons of refrigeration under the supervision of a 1st Class Stationary Engineer and or a Chief Stationary Engineer. The 2nd Class Stationary Engineer Course is comprised of 80 hours of instruction.
